Speak Low

A partner-in-crime with Lady Mack The Knife, this piece, featuring a sultry live rendition of Kurt Weill/Ogden Nash’s song, employs a costume based illusion in which bloody handprints become a lover’s caresses, and is, quite literally, a very visceral depiction of the dark side of love.  Performed at Links Hall (Banners and Cranks: A festival of Cantastoria), and The Singing Picture Show (New York, Connecticut). Good for small-sized venues. Duration: 3.5 minutes.
